Is our economy slowing?  What about manufacturing?

Over recent months we have heard a range of comments on a perceived slowdown in the New Zealand economy – a far cry from the so called ‘rock star’ economic enthusiasm of only a few years back.  I want to look at a snapshot of the available data, to see if this view is perception or reality, and see how the manufacturing sector in particular has been fairing.
